MQ-6 LPG, Propane & Butane Gas Sensor Module
The MQ-6 Gas Sensor Module is engineered for the precise detection of combustible gases, with a particularly high sensitivity to LPG, propane, and isobutane. The sensor's core is a Tin Dioxide (SnO2) semiconductor which has low conductivity in clean air. When flammable gases like LPG are present, the sensor's conductivity increases proportionally to the gas concentration. This module simplifies integration by providing both an analog voltage output for quantitative analysis and a digital output for simple threshold-based detection. The digital trigger point is easily adjustable via an onboard potentiometer, allowing for seamless interfacing with microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and more.
Key Features:
High Sensitivity to LPG: Specially designed for excellent sensitivity to LPG (composed of propane and butane), making it ideal for gas leak detection.
Dual Output Signal: Offers both an analog output for measuring gas concentration and a digital output for triggering alarms or other actions.
Adjustable Trigger Level: An integrated potentiometer allows you to fine-tune the digital output's sensitivity to match your project's requirements.
Fast Response & Recovery: Quickly detects the presence of gas and returns to its baseline state, ensuring timely alerts.
Long Lifespan & High Stability: Built for reliable and consistent performance over a long operational period.
