The JSN-SR04T Ultrasonic Sensor Module is designed for applications that require accurate distance measurement in wet or dusty environments. Unlike the common HC-SR04, this model features a fully waterproof probe, making it ideal for outdoor use or in conditions where exposure to water is expected.

It works by emitting ultrasonic pulses and measuring the time it takes for the echo to return, calculating the distance with high accuracy. The sensor is compatible with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers.
