DHT22 Temperature & Humidity Sensor
The DHT22 (also known as AM2302) is a digital-output sensor module capable of measuring ambient temperature and relative humidity. It features a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor, providing accurate readings with digital signal output, eliminating the need for analog-to-digital conversion.
Compared to its sibling, the DHT11, the DHT22 offers greater accuracy, a wider range, and faster response time. It communicates over a single-wire digital interface, making it easy to use with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers.
Key Features:
✅ Temperature Range: -40°C to +80°C (±0.5°C accuracy)
✅ Humidity Range: 0% to 100% RH (±2–5% accuracy)
✅ Digital signal output (1-wire interface)
✅ Operating Voltage: 3.3V to 6V
✅ Sampling rate: 0.5 Hz (2 seconds per reading)
✅ Low power consumption
✅ Long-term stability
✅ Fully calibrated and ready to use
